I always considered these games something chill to play and relax - but it's slowly inching away from that territory. There just seems to be a lot of implemention of things just to increase the difficulty and make things more complex - which I find a bit unusual given the genre of the game. For people who have been playing the same file since launch last fall, they might not notice how much the difficulty level has increased as they have established farms that are producing income - but getting to that point now is much, much harder. Now you get nuked on sight by mobs of monsters that do a lot of damage.Ĭoupled with the other patches that made money extremely difficult to get, new files are very challenging to get started. The monsters in the mines are now at swarm-worthy levels and if I can be frank, I already found the mines to be slightly annoying because of how much evergy you use in them vs how little reward you get. It's really a shame, because the game has so much potential. The game has become a bit grueling, which ruins the fun. I remember when I seen the coral island kickstarter - it seemed like IMO the perfect game, with a unique twist with the underwater aspects & a fresh story that isn't "revive your grandpas farm".Įvery patch and update makes the game less accessible, more difficult, and frustrating.
